ASUS MeMo Pad HD 7 now just $99 at Amazon

Now that the ASUS produced Google Nexus 7 is available from some retailers for $229 for the 16GB model and $269 for the 32GB variant, you can expect to see a number of Android tablets get their prices cut. And that brings us to the ASUS MeMo Pad HD 7. The slab is on sale for $99 from Amazon. For that price, you're getting a 7 inch LCD screen with a 1280 x 800 resolution which works out to a pixel density of 216ppi. A quad-core 1.2GHz processor is under the hood, but only 1GB of RAM is on board. 8GB of native storage can be bumped up using the 32GB capacity microSD slot. The 5MP camera is on back while a 1.2MP snapper adorns the front. Android 4.2 is installed out of the box. While this is a great deal, there is one catch. The tablet is currently out of stock at Amazon which means that if you order now, delivery of your tablet will have to wait until the inventory has been replenished. A retailer named Wireless World Atlanta is said to have the tablet in stock for $92 with $7 shipping which matches the Amazon price. To make sure you get the lowest price, click on seller options.
$99 is a great price for a tablet like the ASUS MeMo Pad HD 7 considering that as recently as June, the tablet was priced at $130.
